Fed: No plough unturned as Aust reclaims world tractor record

Thousands of farmers have broken a world tractor record on a farm outside the New South
Wales country town of Cootamundra.

Once the dust settled, 1,862 tractors had ploughed 500 metres of ground, breaking Ireland's
previous world tractor ploughing record of 1,833.

This is the second time Australia has claimed the record.

Key organiser VIC MUSCAT says he's bloody proud of the people who rallied behind the
tractor plough.

The world record was originally set by South Africa in 1999.
