FED: Pressure increases for heroin trial
Prime Minister JOHN HOWARD is coming under increasing pressure to consider a heroin trial,
with doctors and two conservative state governments giving at least partial support to the
trials.
Mr HOWARD flatly rejects any move to legalise heroin, a position now strongly backed by
Health Minister MICHAEL WOOLDRIDGE, a former supporter of the ACT heroin trial quashed by Mr
Howard.
