WA: WA first cab off rank in what will be election weary year

PERTH, Jan 12 AAP - Western Australia's 1.2 million voters will go to the polls next
month, the first election of a packed political year in which the governments of four
states and territories - as well as that of Prime Minister John Howard - will lay their
credentials on the line.

The eight-year-old administration of WA Premier Richard Court, which first swept to
